Jesus Christ Superstar

Jesus Christ Superstar, directed by Joe Asente with music direction by Savannah Florkowski and presented July 2018, is a rock opera that tells the story of the last week of Jesus’ life through modern rock music and a contemporary voice. It is also unusual in its choice to tell most of the story through Judas Iscariot, the apostle who will eventually betray Jesus.
